Get ready for a feast of flavours, colours, and cultures at The Joy of Many Colours: Multicultural Food Expo, happening on Saturday, 3 May from 4pm to 8pm at Netball Marrara. This vibrant, free community event is a celebration of diversity, connection, and culture through one of the most universal languages we all share – food.

Organised by the Connected Women group of the Australian Red Cross NT in collaboration with Darwin’s multicultural communities, and supported by the Northern Territory Government, this evening promises something special for everyone.
What to expect:
Multicultural Food Expo – Sample over 100 traditional dishes from more than 25 cultural backgrounds, all lovingly prepared and shared by cultural representatives from across Darwin.
Live Performances & Cultural Showcases – Enjoy an exciting line up of traditional dances, music, interactive games, and performances from broader Australian communities.
Family-Friendly Fun – Bring the whole family! There will be live music, a photo wall, and kids’ activities to keep everyone entertained.
The event highlights the strength and beauty of Darwin’s cultural diversity and reflects the ongoing work of the Connected Women group of the Australian Red Cross NT, which empowers refugee, migrant, and asylum seeker women and their families to thrive and feel at home.
