The Table Everyone Wants a Seat At

The Sunday Share Brunch at Hilton Darwin is the laid-back ritual Darwin has been missing.

There’s a particular kind of Sunday that Territorians do well – slow, unhurried, with good food and great company. PepperBerry Restaurant at Hilton Darwin has just made that Sunday a whole lot more delicious.

Recently launched, the Sunday Share Brunch is exactly what it sounds like: generous shared plates, easy drinks, and a table designed for lingering. And if the menu is anything to go by, Darwin’s weekend social calendar just found its new anchor.

The spread reads like a love letter to relaxed, modern dining. Start with freshly baked focaccia alongside a roasted tomato, onion and basil dip with balsamic, and a seasonal fruit platter with maple yoghurt and granola before moving into the kind of mains that demand conversation, Shakshouka with a rich tomato base and feta, and classic Eggs Benedict on an English muffin with grilled Bratwurst and potato gems, paired with a vibrant pumpkin salad with sundried tomatoes, feta cheese and baby spinach. Save room for the French toast finish: thick raisin bread, forest berries, blueberry compote and vanilla cream. It’s the kind of dessert that makes you forget it’s still technically brunch.

What makes it work is what it doesn’t try to be. It isn’t a buffet; it isn’t a set-and-forget hotel experience. It’s a table set for sharing inside PepperBerry’s relaxed yet refined space on Mitchell Street. And at $55 per adult for food with a welcome bubbly on arrival, or $65 for the free-flow house beverage upgrade – because some Sundays simply call for it. There’s a version of this experience for everyone around the table. Kids aged 5–12 can join in for $15. * Menu is subject to change without prior notice.

Every Sunday | 11:30am – 2:00pm Reservations at pepperberryrestaurant.com.au located inside Hilton Darwin | 32 Mitchell Street, Darwin City, NT 0800 or call (08) 8982 0000
