Mark your calendars, Darwin friends! The Mindil Beach Sunset Market kicks off its 2025 season on Thursday, 24 April!

Darwin’s famous Mindil Beach Sunset Market is back this week, just days out from the official start of our dry season magic. Kicking off this Thursday 24 April, the markets will run every Thursday and Sunday 4pm to 9pm until the end of October.

More than just a market, Mindil is a full tropical experience, where over 300 stalls bring together global street food, handmade arts and crafts, live entertainment and cultural performances, all set against the iconic backdrop of a glowing Mindil Beach sunset. Whether you’re a local making it a weekly ritual or a visitor chasing that Top End spectacle, this is one of the Northern Territory’s must-do events. It’s vibrant, welcoming, and an essential part of Darwin’s dry season calendar – not to mention a $15+ million boost to the local economy.
