Before & After Inspiration with Darwin’s Premier Interior Designer, Jan-Marie of JMJ Interiors

Whether you are building from scratch or renovating, Jan-Marie an experienced Interior Architect, award winning for her kitchen and bathroom designs, can work directly with you, your builder or architect to create the home of your dreams.

BEFORE & AFTER Wanguri Bathroom

From Jan-Marie “Our client brief was to turn this dysfunctional small bathroom into a growing family bathroom with ample storage including a bath. We gained precious space by taking in the adjacent separate toilet and increasing the square meters to incorporate a spacious family bathroom with a wet area for a walk-in shower and bath, a large custom vanity with a linen closet tucked into the wall and accessible from the hallway.”

BEFORE & AFTER Bayview Kitchen

From Jan-Marie “Our clients love of the sea inspired our beautiful blue and nordic oak finishes. We were restricted to the existing footprint of the kitchen as the flooring wasn’t changing. Although this kitchen on the surface looked functional, storage was a big issue. One of the standout features we included in the new design, was creating an appliance garage to keep large appliances on the bench for easy access and then out of sight when not in use. We also maximised pantry space and turned every cupboard into a drawer. Our star of the show was the purpose-built beverage bar, under bench fridge and island/breakfast bar seating, this was achieved by extending the footprint of the kitchen into the dining area.”
